Concrete Coatings Installer

MadJack Concrete Coatings is a rapidly growing, family owned decorative/restoration concrete company that has positions available for motivated installers in the Eastern Tennessee area. All tools and equipment will be supplied. In order to be considered for this position, you must be hard working and have the ability to follow instructions rapidly and proficiently. You will learn about safety precautions and be expected to be compliant at all times. You will interact with homeowners, general contractors, building owners, and their employees. You may work on different sites with different crews doing a variety of jobs, so having skills in several areas, in addition to being able to communicate with people is very important!

Activities, Responsibilities, & Specific Duties:

Participate as a member of a 2-3 person installation team. Install a variety of concrete floor coating systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Conduct surface preparation and concrete repairs. Operate generators, vacuum systems, large grinding equipment, and hand tools. Documentation for each project; pictures, tracking reports, completion forms, etc. Maintain and account for tools and equipment on all sites.

Position requirements:

At least 1-year experience installing epoxy or polyurea/polyaspartic flooring systems. Able to lift a minimum of 75 Lb. Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, etc. for extended periods as the job requires Ability to work with minimal supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be customer service oriented Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards Willing to travel and work all shifts, including weekend work if needed Must have a valid driver's license Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with local laws/regulations
