.. this is the job for you! Apply as a 1099 contractor and itemize your taxes annually or apply as a full-time employee and get 10 hours of OT per week. Both 1099 and Full Time Employees recieve 2 paid sick days per year, 1 weeks paid vacation after one year, and 7 Paid Holidays with every weekend & evening off and no travel. We are a small local company that works in the residential space with a few premier residential builders. We are comprised of 5 Teams skilled in different areas and we are seeking a Full Time dedicated and skilled Concrete Finisher. .
Responsibilities:
Clock in and out from the Job Site Each Day Attend the Weekly Team Meeting on Tuesday Mornings (Team Lead Only) Place forms that hold concrete to ensure the required depth and pitch is achieved Monitor the effect heat, wind and cold have on curing concrete to ensure high-quality results Removing edges on expansion joints and sides Install anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete Polish surfaces using smoothing materials, abrasive tools and surfacing machines Carry out correct and accurate measurements to ensure that concrete meet blueprint specs Read blueprints and examine drawings to ensure that they are correct and to also calculate the materials needed Create patterns, forms, or foundations according to plans Ensure that materials are broken or cut into the required size Requirements Expected hours: 50 per week, 10-hour shifts (7am
  • 5pm)
  • no out of town, no weekends, no nights and no holidays.
Previous experience in finishing residential concrete including Driveways, Porches, Steps & Garage Floors. Ability to drive a project forward. Ability to read plans is required. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Punctuality is required. A Positive Attitude is required.

  • $24.00 per hour depending on Experience 7 Paid Holidays per year 2 Paid Sick Days after 6 months After one year of service
  • 5 days of "Paid Vacation". After three years of service
  • 8 days of "Paid Vacation". After five years of service
  • 10 days of "Paid Vacation".
