Concrete Quality Control Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Quality Control Technician to join our construction team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality inspections of concrete mixes, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards. Collect and analyze data from laboratory tests, including slump tests, compressive strength tests, and other relevant procedures to monitor concrete quality. Maintain detailed records of test results, inspection reports, and quality control documentation for project files and audits. Collaborate with construction teams to identify potential issues early and recommend corrective actions to uphold quality standards. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures for concrete materials and construction practices. Assist ready mix driver's safe egress on site and maintain PPE compliance. Skills Laboratory experience with concrete testing methods and data collection techniques. Strong understanding of construction processes, including concrete forming, masonry, and general site operations. Proven ability in quality control and inspection within a construction environment. Excellent analysis skills for interpreting test results and identifying quality issues promptly. Construction site experience with a focus on concrete placement, curing, and finishing techniques. Familiarity with construction contracts, specifications, and inspection standards. Effective communication skills for collaborating with project managers, contractors, and field personnel.
