Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to concrete installation, finishing, and related construction activities. Your expertise will contribute to building durable, high-quality structures and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to large-scale infrastructure developments, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge. Duties Prepare construction sites by setting up forms, rebar frameworks, and mixing concrete using concrete mixers or pumps. Install rebar and metal studs according to schematics and blueprints to reinforce concrete structures. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications. Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, troweling, and sealing surfaces for a polished appearance. Assist with masonry, stucco, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related renovation activities as needed. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; adhere to safety protocols at all times. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete pumps confidently. Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and understanding schematics for accurate project execution. Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and masonry techniques. Knowledge of heavy lifting procedures and safety standards on construction sites. Ability to perform concrete finishing tasks such as troweling, caulking, sealing joints (caulking), and applying textures or coatings. Familiarity with roofing, restoration work, renovation projects, and general carpentry including trim carpentry. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work; capable of working in various weather conditions. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for site transportation; experience operating heavy machinery is a plus.
