Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces to meet project specifications and quality standards. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring durable and visually appealing concrete structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from commercial buildings to renovation sites, utilizing your skills in concrete finishing and related trades. Responsibilities Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve desired textures and finishes. Set forms and molds accurately according to blueprints and schematics to ensure precise concrete placement. Install rebar and reinforcement materials to strengthen concrete structures as specified in project plans. Operate heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Perform related tasks including caulking, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry work when needed. Collaborate with team members including carpenters, masons, welders, and other trades to coordinate project activities effectively. Requirements Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site procedures. Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete mixers. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision. Familiarity with rebar installation, form setting, concrete pouring, and finishing techniques. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing demanding manual tasks in various weather conditions. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites and equipment operation. Additional skills such as roofing, carpentry (trim carpentry or frame carpentry), masonry, welding or restoration experience are considered advantageous.
