The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of project management and safety protocols. This role requires a proactive approach to managing teams, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining project schedules in a fast-paced environment. The Commercial Concrete Foreman will be instrumental in coordinating activities, supervising crew members, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within specifications. Duties Supervise and coordinate all aspects of commercial concrete construction projects, including pouring, finishing, and curing processes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of plans. Manage daily operations on-site, including scheduling labor, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore ans MS Project for project planning, scheduling, and documentation. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and enforce safety protocols across the job site. Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to design specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, contract management, and change order processing. Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Maintain accurate records of work progress, safety incidents, and project documentation. Troubleshoot technical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and manage schematics for electrical or instrumentation components related to concrete projects. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a focus on commercial concrete projects. Supervising experience leading crews in a construction environment is required. Strong background in blueprint reading, construction estimating, project scheduling, and budgeting. Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera P6 is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety. Hands-on experience with construction site activities such as formwork, reinforcement placement, finishing techniques, and curing processes. Knowledge of the regulations specific to each trade and state Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality control standards in a dynamic environment.
