In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing concrete finishing operations, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and leading a team of skilled workers on various construction projects. Your expertise will help bring projects to life with precision and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of commercial, residential, and renovation developments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership abilities while applying your extensive knowledge of concrete work and related construction disciplines. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate concrete finishing activities, including smoothing, shaping, and detailing freshly poured concrete to meet project specifications. Supervise rebar installation, form setting, and concrete pouring processes to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schematics. Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and concrete pumping systems safely and efficiently on-site. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor during concrete placement, finishing, and restoration tasks. Oversee the use of construction estimating techniques for material needs and project timelines. Conduct quality control inspections for concrete surfaces, ensuring proper curing, caulking, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry work. Collaborate with carpentry teams for framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, plastering, and renovation activities as needed. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during heavy equipment operation and site activities. Maintain detailed records of work progress, materials used, safety incidents, and project documentation. Experience Proven experience as a concrete finisher or lead in commercial or residential construction settings. Extensive knowledge of concrete forming techniques and finishing methods. Skilled in rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry work, welding, and roofing fundamentals. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for complex construction projects. Hands-on experience with concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment operation. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and project management principles. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in restoration or renovation projects. Prior experience in plastering, stucco application, caulking, tile laying or flooring installation is a plus. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to operate heavy machinery may be preferred depending on project scope.
