Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Form Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling concrete forms used in various building projects. Your expertise will help ensure the structural integrity and quality of concrete structures, contributing to successful project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to bring architectural visions to life with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct concrete forms in accordance with project specifications. Set up formwork using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment, stability, and safety standards are met. Install rebar reinforcement within forms to provide additional strength to concrete structures. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery necessary for form installation and concrete placement. Execute finishing tasks, including smoothing, sealing, caulking, and applying textures such as stucco or plaster to surfaces such as concrete Collaborate with team members on-site to coordinate tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Assist in demolition and renovation projects by removing old forms and preparing sites for new construction activities. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on concrete forming or related trades such as masonry or carpentry. Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and construction techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and heavy machinery operation. Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, and formwork construction standards. Familiarity with safety protocols related to construction sites, including heavy equipment operation and working at heights. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred; ability to operate various types of construction vehicles is a plus.
