Job Description

Job Title:
Concrete Superintendent Reports To:
Project Manager Experience:
5+ years as concrete foreman
Education:
High school diploma (preferred), working knowledge of concrete mix designs, drawings and specs, proficient computer and English skills to communicate via email
Key Position Requirements & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and with MC Green quality of workmanship, productivity, and company values. 2. Ensure projects follow all appropriate safety and quality procedures and meet MC Green standards and all meetings and forms are properly conducted and reported. 3. Maintain 3 week look ahead schedule with assistance from project manager 4. Develop, mentor, and train all project foremen and field crews. 5. Coordinate the scheduling of manpower, equipment, materials, and site facilities for projects. 6. Work with project owners and general contractors to overcome project obstacles to best benefit and protect MC Green and our customer. 7. Ensure time cards and material/subcontract invoices are coded accurately. 8. Assist crew foreman in ordering materials, large concrete orders, saw cutting, testing, concrete washouts and inspections. 9. Perform large pour pre-pour checklist with foreman for all pours exceeding 100 cubic yards. 10. Attend weekly progress meeting with general contractor and/or owner 11. When coordination and management duties are completed, work hands on with crews needing additional training or help. 12. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training & development of key talent for project teams for future growth, expansion & diversification.
