In this role, you will be responsible for performing soil and concrete testing, quality inspections, and data collection to ensure construction projects meet all safety and quality standards. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth project execution by providing accurate analysis and maintaining rigorous quality control throughout the construction process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects while developing your skills in laboratory testing, construction inspection, and materials analysis. Duties Conduct soil sampling, classification, and compaction tests on construction sites to verify geotechnical conditions. Perform concrete testing including slump tests, air content measurements, and cylinder curing for strength analysis. Inspect construction materials such as concrete forms, masonry work, and other structural components to ensure compliance with project specifications. Collect, record, and analyze data related to soil properties and concrete quality to support project decisions. Assist in quality control inspections during various phases of construction to identify issues early and recommend corrective actions. Review contracts and specifications related to soils and concrete work to ensure adherence to project requirements. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and support construction inspection activities. Experience Prior laboratory experience in soils or concrete testing is highly preferred. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with building processes, concrete forming, masonry, and general construction practices. Knowledge of quality inspection procedures, data collection methods, and analysis skills relevant to geotechnical or materials testing. Understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and inspection protocols is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical data accurately.
