TBD Position Summary/Objective The Concrete Finisher is tasked with ensuring that poured concrete surfaces are properly finished, leveled, and textured according to project specifications and quality standards. They play a crucial role in achieving durable, visually appealing concrete structures essential for various construction projects. Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leveling the top surface of freshly poured concrete Operating a power vibrator to compress concreate Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete Waterproofing damp-proofing concrete surfaces Installing anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete Other Duties as Assigned or Requested Performs other related duties as required and assigned Qualifications Required Preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry In-depth knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing processes, quality control techniques, and industry standards (ASTM, ACI). Strong relationship-building and communication skills (verbal and written). Proficient in the use of office software, including MS Office. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. N/A Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to apply common sense understanding in order to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. Yes No If yes, describe responsibility: Other Scope Factors (location population, geographic areas, revenue, etc.) N/A Work Environment % of Travel Required N/A Work Environment Working on uneven and potentially hazardous terrain, including working at heights or near water bodies depending on the deep foundation tunnels. Managing activities in a busy construction zone with heavy machinery, equipment, and ongoing operations. Physical Demands Involves exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds continuously to move objects. Standing and walking for extended periods, often for several hours a day, across the construction site. Walking long distances within the site to inspect various aspects of the project Occasionally lifting and carrying heavy materials or equipment, though typically not as frequently as laborers or tradespeople.
