Job Description

Job Title:
Concrete Construction Project Manager 1. Job Summary Bayside Concrete Inc., a leading commercial and industrial concrete contractor serving Southeast Virginia and Northeast North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Project Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in commercial and industrial concrete, including foundations, structural form systems, and elevated decks, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with opportunities for advancement. 2.
Key Responsibilities Project Management:
Lead and manage commercial and industrial concrete projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Budget Oversight:
Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasting costs and making adjustments as needed.
Scheduling:
Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Team Leadership:
Supervise field teams, including foremen and laborers, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety compliance.
Blueprint & Plan Review:
Interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to ensure proper execution.
Change Orders:
Prepare and submit change order documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Jobsite Inspections:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
Procurement:
Determine, source, and order materials and supplies required for specific projects.
Quality Control:
Maintain high-quality standards across all phases of construction, including slabs, cast-in-place structures, and elevated decks.
Client Relations:
Interact with clients, providing updates and resolving issues.
Safety Compliance:
Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. 3. Qualifications Extensive experience managing commercial and industrial concrete construction projects. Strong understanding of structural form systems, engineering principles, and construction documents. Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Sage Construction software (formerly Timberline) preferred. 4.
Education & Experience Experience:
Minimum 5 years in concrete construction project management, with a focus on commercial/industrial work.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Certifications:
OSHA 30 certification preferred PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus Sage Construction software experience highly preferred. 5.
