Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Laborer and be a vital part of building durable, high-quality structures! In this energetic role, you will assist with various concrete-related tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will contribute to transforming blueprints into solid realities, supporting the creation of everything from commercial buildings to renovation projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while working alongside experienced professionals committed to excellence. Responsibilities Assist with concrete, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, level surfaces. Set up and dismantle formwork using concrete forming techniques, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Install rebar reinforcement according to schematics and safety standards to strengthen concrete structures. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on-site. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and execute tasks accurately. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for site preparation, material handling, and cleanup. Qualifications Prior construction site experience or training in concrete work is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential! Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with construction estimating is a plus for understanding project scope. Ability to operate power tools, concrete mixers, heavy equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely. Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings. Strong work ethic with attention to safety protocols and quality standards. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is advantageous. Physical stamina for demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions.
