Duties Accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements for concrete structures. Operate power tools such as concrete saws, wall cutters, and other specialized equipment to make precise cuts in concrete surfaces. Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, securing materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed before commencing cutting operations. Collaborate with rebar installers, masons, carpenters, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of concrete elements within the project scope. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed to position materials or assist with formwork installation for concrete pouring. Maintain equipment by inspecting tools regularly and reporting any malfunctions or repairs needed. Follow safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment on busy construction sites. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete cutting techniques and tools. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and schematics reading. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for precise project execution. Skills in related trades such as rebar installation, masonry, framing carpentry, tile laying, stucco application, or roofing are highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods. Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to concrete cutting operations and general construction site safety standards. Valid driver's license for commercial driving if required for equipment transport or site access.
