Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Footing/Walls Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in laying the foundation for various building projects by assisting with concrete footing and wall installation. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in concrete work, masonry, and construction site operations while contributing to impactful building projects. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and placement of concrete footings and walls, ensuring proper alignment and dimensions according to blueprints and schematics Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to facilitate concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing processes Support rebar installation by cutting, bending, and tying reinforcement bars as specified in project plans Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute tasks Perform heavy lifting of materials such as concrete blocks, rebar, formwork components, and other construction supplies Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting up formwork and scaffolding as needed for concrete pouring Collaborate with team members on new construction projects Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, or related trades is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge of tools such as mixers, saws, drills, and welding equipment Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working outdoors in various weather conditions Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site hazards Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in concrete finishing or masonry Basic understanding of construction estimating or carpentry skills such as trim carpentry or framing is advantageous Join our team today to build strong foundations—literally!
