Job Description
Seeking applicants for a concrete finishers and concrete wall setters for the 2026 construction season. Experience is preferred but will train the right applicant. A valid Driver's License is required. We work 40+ hours per week. No overnights or travel required. We offer excellent wages and advancement opportunity as well as health insurance and an employer-match retirement program.
Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape and finish concrete
- Apply caulking and plaster to fill gaps and cracks in concrete surfaces
- Install flooring systems, including epoxy coatings and decorative finishes
- Construct and install concrete forms for pouring concrete
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate placement of concrete
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
Skills:
- Proficient in concrete finishing techniques, including troweling, edging, and brooming
- Experience in masonry work, such as bricklaying or block laying
- Knowledge of hardscape installation, including sidewalks, driveways, and patios
- Familiarity with construction estimating for material and labor costs
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces
