Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with various concrete-related tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your energy and attention to detail will help bring robust, durable structures to life, contributing to the success of diverse building and renovation projects. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, skill development, and safety are prioritized. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces. Set up and dismantle formwork using carpentry tools and techniques to shape concrete structures. Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics for structural integrity. Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and compactors safely and effectively. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety protocols. Support other trades such as masonry, framing, roofing, or plastering as needed on-site. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a focus on concrete work or related trades. Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with clarity. Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing techniques, and rebar installation. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery relevant to concrete labor tasks. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. CDL preferred Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment when required. Nice-to-have skills include experience with masonry, welding, tile laying, flooring installation, stucco application, renovation projects, metal stud framing, caulking or trim carpentry skills. A background in construction estimating or blueprint reading will further enhance your ability to contribute effectively. $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
