Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces to create durable, high-quality structures. Your expertise will ensure that concrete work meets precise specifications and safety standards, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment while working on diverse projects that make a lasting impact. Duties Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and edgers to achieve the desired surface texture and appearance Set forms and reinforce structures by installing rebar and wire mesh according to blueprints and schematics Operate power tools including concrete mixers, pumps, screeds, and grinders to facilitate efficient work processes Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and finishing of concrete elements Install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative concrete surfaces with precision Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling materials like concrete bags, rebar, or formwork components Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure quality standards are met Qualifications Proven experience in concrete finishing and related construction activities on commercial or residential sites Strong mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Skilled in rebar installation, form setting, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry work Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and materials needed Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding as required Valid driver's license with experience in commercial driving preferred for site travel or material transport Join us if you're passionate about creating lasting structures with precision craftsmanship!
