Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher and bring your expertise in shaping durable, high-quality concrete surfaces! In this important role, you will be responsible for finishing concrete to perfection on a variety of projects, from commercial buildings to renovation sites. Your skills will help create smooth, safe, and visually appealing concrete structures that stand the test of time. Duties Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve desired textures and finishes. Install rebar and metal reinforcement as per schematics and blueprints to ensure structural integrity. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and screeding machines to facilitate efficient pouring and finishing processes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute concrete forms, layouts, and elevations. Assist with site preparation, excavation, material compaction, and concrete forming. Conduct quality checks during the finishing process to ensure smoothness, levelness, and proper curing of concrete surfaces. Requirements Proven experience in concrete finishing with a solid understanding of construction site procedures. Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, screeding equipment, and concrete mixers. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, concrete mix designs, concrete addatives, and technical drawings relevant to concrete projects. Knowledge of rebar installation, and other concrete reinforcements. Experience with construction estimating or renovation projects is a plus.
