Overview We are seeking a dedicated Construction Foreman to join our team and contribute to various building projects. This role involves engaging in the completion of construction tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on-site. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leadership roles on a construction project and extensive knowledge of the construction process. Duties Lead the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment Coordinating daily tasks in accordance with project priorities and plans Adjusting daily work plans due to weather, delayed supplies or staffing issues Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors Training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs Inspecting daily work completed to ensure it aligns with blueprints, schematics, and best practices. Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards Regularly reporting project status to supervisors Support team members in completing project milestones efficiently and effectively Qualifications Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork Good communication skills and willingness to follow construction industry's best practices. Prior experience in construction leadership with an emphasis on all aspects of the construction process. Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver's license is preferred Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the construction field We value hardworking team players committed to safety and quality workmanship.
