Schedule:

Monday-Friday | Day Shift + Overtime About Total Shade Total Shade designs, fabricates, and installs custom shade structures for commercial, municipal and public-sector projects throughout AZ and NV. Our work takes place on active commercial jobsites and requires strong coordination with general contractors, inspectors, and other trades. We are known for quality workmanship, reliable scheduling, and professional field execution. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Foreman to lead field crews and manage daily jobsite operations. This is a hands-on, working foreman role. You will be on site every day, leading crews, coordinating with GCs and superintendents, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and schedules. If you are looking for an office-based or desk-only position, this role is not a fit. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside field crews on commercial construction sites Coordinate daily activities with general contractors, superintendents, and other trades Assign daily tasks and manage crew productivity and workflow Perform and oversee layout, concrete footing installation, steel erection, and shade structure installation Read and interpret commercial construction drawings, site plans, and details Operate equipment such as reach forks, skid steers and scissor lifts Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are staged and used correctly Maintain production schedules and meet jobsite milestones Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance Ensure work passes inspections and meets commercial quality standards Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid schedule impacts Track labor hours and provide daily field reports Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction experience Prior experience as a Foreman or Lead on commercial jobs preferred Strong knowledge of concrete, structural steel, and exterior construction Experience working on active jobsites with GCs and inspectors Ability to read plans, perform layout, and take accurate field measurements Proven ability to lead crews and hold team members accountable Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions Strong communication and problem-solving skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Valid driver's license Forklift, scissor lift, OHSA 30 certificates preferred Benefits Paid time off 401(k) 401(k) match Overtime opportunities Work Location In person Phoenix, AZ Must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to start date
