This role is responsible for leading field crews on specialty metering projects and ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. The Metering Foreman will supervise day-to-day field activities, coordinate with leadership, and ensure high-quality installation of water metering systems. Many projects include plumbing-related scopes, making plumbing or mechanical experience highly preferred.
What You'll Do:
Lead field crews on metering installation projects. Coordinate daily work activities to meet project timelines. Install and oversee installation of water meters and related equipment. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards. Review project scope and communicate tasks clearly to team members. Troubleshoot field issues and support team productivity. Maintain quality workmanship and ensure accurate installation. Communicate progress and updates to the Superintendent or Project Manager. Support training and development of junior team members.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in plumbing, metering, construction, or related field. Leadership experience or readiness to lead a field crew. Experience installing meters or working on plumbing systems is highly preferred. Strong communication and team coordination skills. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines. Knowledge of safety standards and field best practices. Ability to perform physical labor in indoor and outdoor environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong work ethic and commitment to quality work.
