Residential Construction / General Contracting Job Overview JJL Design & Build LLC is seeking a skilled Residential Construction Field Leader / Lead Foreman to oversee and execute residential building projects from blueprint to final walkthrough. Learn more about our team at www.buildwithjjl.com Key Responsibilities Lead residential construction projects from plans and specifications through final punch list Interpret blueprints and organize crews to execute scopes of work efficiently Oversee daily jobsite operations to maintain productivity, safety, and quality Perform and assist with framing, flooring, cabinetry, painting, trim work, window, and door installation Coordinate schedules, jobsite progress, and updates through project management systems Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, internal staff, and clients Identify and resolve jobsite challenges through strong decision-making and problem-solving Maintain clean, organized, and safe worksites Train and mentor field team members to strengthen crew performance Represent JJL Design & Build professionally with clients and project stakeholders Support project scheduling, material coordination, and workflow planning Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on residential construction experience Proven ability to lead crews and manage residential jobsite operations Strong experience in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, flooring, and trim work Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Experience with construction management software or willingness to learn High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $35- $45+ per hour based on experience Year-End Bonus Program Safety equipment provided Company uniforms Onsite training and mentorship Employee recognition programs and rewards Company events and team-building activities Opportunities for leadership advancement as the company grows Work Schedule Full-Time Monday
