Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead and oversee electrical construction projects within commercial settings. This role is vital in ensuring that electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Foreman, you will coordinate teams, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while delivering exceptional results on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity. Duties Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications Coordinate daily activities with project managers, general contractors, and clients to meet project milestones and deadlines Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes Manage procurement of materials Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards (OSHA) and project specifications Oversee project scheduling using Primavera P6 or Primavera for effective resource allocation and timeline management Supervise subcontractors, review contracts, and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations Maintain accurate records of work progress, safety incidents, and change orders using construction management tools like HeavyBid or Construction management software Implement safety protocols on-site, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all team members are trained on OSHA standards Still being active on the tools during projects Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical systems and verifying circuit integrity Skills Extensive experience in construction site management with a focus on electrical projects in commercial environments Strong supervisory skills with proven ability to lead diverse teams effectively Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating Knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools Familiarity with contracts administration and project budgeting processes Ability to read technical schematics and use testing instruments like ohmmeters for diagnostics Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards and quality control procedures in construction settings Join us to lead innovative electrical projects that shape the future of commercial infrastructure!
