Job Description

About Us Our work includes water, fire, sewer, and storm systems. We're growing quickly and looking for a dependable Working Foreman to lead field crews, operate equipment, and ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to code. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Underground Utilities Foreman who can both lead crews and work in the field . This is not a sit-back supervision role — you will be actively involved in daily operations, including machine operation, trenching, pipe installation, and site setup, while also guiding and training your crew. You'll be responsible for safety, quality, and project execution from start to finish. Responsibilities- Including but not limited to: Lead, supervise, and work alongside a crew on underground utility projects. Operate equipment such as excavators, loaders, and trenchers. Perform hands-on installation of water, sewer, storm, and fire systems. Read and interpret site plans and ensure installations meet code. Conduct daily safety checks and enforce trench safety practices. Train, mentor, and motivate crew members. Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors. Maintain accurate daily logs and communicate progress/issues. Ensure the job site is clean, safe, and organized. Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in underground plumbing/utilities. Proficient with excavation equipment and underground installation. Strong knowledge of water, sewer, storm, and fire systems. Proven ability to lead while working hands-on . Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license

$30.00 - $55.00 per hour
