Position Overview Covington Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Framing Foreman to oversee structural framing operations for large-scale luxury residential and multifamily construction projects in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This role is responsible for leading framing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring structural framing work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. The Framing Foreman will work closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Management team to execute framing operations in accordance with structural plans and project timelines. This position is project-based and aligned with the duration of active framing operations . As Covington Construction LLC continues to expand, high-performing candidates may be considered for transition into a full-time, long-term Foreman role based on merit, performance, and future project availability. Key Responsibilities Field Operations & Crew Management Manage daily framing operations on active construction sites Supervise framing crews of approximately 10-20+ workers Assist with crew staffing and hiring when applicable Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades Structural Framing Oversight Lead layout and construction of structural wood framing systems Oversee installation of walls, floors, and structural framing components Coordinate roof framing and truss installation Manage installation of sheathing, hardware, and structural connectors Ensure proper installation of hold-downs, anchors, and structural hardware Supervise deck framing and related structural components Ensure proper temporary bracing during construction Project Coordination Review structural plans and specifications before beginning work Coordinate with the Project Superintendent to maintain project schedule Manage material deliveries and staging of framing materials Coordinate structural inspections with local authorities Communicate jobsite issues or changes to project leadership Safety & Quality Enforce jobsite safety standards and procedures Ensure all framing work meets structural and quality requirements Promote a safe and efficient working environment Qualifications 3+ years of construction experience 1+ years of experience as a foreman or crew lead Experience with structural wood framing Ability to read and interpret structural construction plans Experience performing field layout Strong leadership and crew management skills Valid driver's license with reliable transportation High school diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred:

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Equipment operation experience Bilingual Spanish/English Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated framing systems Ability to work extended hours when needed to maintain schedule

Compensation Hourly:

$35 - $65 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications Bonus opportunities may be available based on performance
