In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise construction crews, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets. Your leadership will drive project success by managing resources effectively, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and upholding quality standards. Duties Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align on schedules, resources, and project goals. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide team activities accurately. Monitor project progress using construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6; update schedules regularly. Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct safety meetings to promote a culture of safety on-site. Manage site logistics including material delivery, equipment operation (such as ohmmeters), and pipeline installation processes. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client expectations. Maintain accurate documentation related to contracts, change orders, budgets, and project timelines. Supervise subcontractors and labor crews; evaluate performance and provide mentorship for skill development. Conduct regular site inspections for schematics accuracy, budget adherence, and overall project health. Skills Proven management experience in heavy civil or commercial construction projects with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Expertise in construction estimating, budgeting, contract administration, and project scheduling. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols specific to construction sites. Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders. Hands-on experience with construction site equipment operation; proficiency with tools like ohmmeters is a plus.
