Full-time | Union Position Courtney, Inc. is seeking an experienced Union Waterproofing Foreman to lead field crews on waterproofing projects throughout the San Diego territory . This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising union crews, coordinating daily field production, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring high-quality waterproofing installations. Responsibilities Supervise and lead union waterproofing crews in the field Coordinate daily manpower, materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics Oversee installation of waterproofing systems, coatings, sealants, membranes, flashing, and related materials Read and interpret plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project details Maintain production schedules and communicate progress to project management Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, project managers, and other trades Track daily reports, crew hours, materials used, and jobsite conditions Enforce OSHA, union, jobsite, and Courtney, Inc. safety requirements Identify field issues and help resolve them before they affect schedule or quality Train, mentor, and direct crew members to maintain quality and productivity Qualifications Prior experience as a waterproofing foreman, union foreman, lead installer, or field supervisor Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, deck coatings, sealants, below-grade waterproofing, and/or building envelope work Experience supervising union field crews preferred Ability to read plans, details, and construction specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout San Diego County Valid driver's license preferred OSHA certification preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Compensation & Benefits Union wages and benefits based on applicable agreement San Diego territory projects Growth opportunity with an established waterproofing contractor Company support, equipment, and resources How to Apply Qualified candidates should apply with a resume or brief summary of relevant waterproofing, construction, and foreman experience.
