Hourly Position Summary The Working General Foreman at Haggerty Construction Inc. (HCI) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Field Team across job sites. This includes working closely with The Production Manager, safety enforcement, site management, quality assurance, and clear communication with Superintendents and clients. The Working General Foreman is also instrumental in ensuring HCI's self-perform work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards and client expectations. Job Objectives Work closely with the Production Manager to direct, schedule, and support Field Team members, ensuring proper staffing and equipment availability for all projects. Ensure all self-perform work meets quality and schedule requirements while managing on-site organization and cleanliness. Act as liaison between HCI and Clients, Superintendents, and Claims Managers to support successful project delivery. Promote a culture of safety, ensure all worksite safety procedures are followed, and maintain full regulatory compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in scheduling all projects to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner. Quality control, an eye for attention to detail to ensure the delivery of quality work. Ensure accurate and timely submission of Field Team timecards and receipts. Coordinate closely with Superintendent and Claims Managers to ensure workforce alignment with project needs. Review and process work orders for timely completion. Lead mobilization and demobilization of job sites including signage, branding, and cleanup. Complete punch lists and confirm final quality standards. Ensure the highest quality standards are met across all self-performance tasks. Clearly interpret and follow project plans and specifications. Resolve discrepancies with drawings, client expectations, or subcontractor responsibilities. Communicate regularly with Production Manager, Project/Claims Managers and Superintendents for project updates. Maintain a safe work environment and enforce compliance with all HCI safety policies. Submit incident reports to the Production Manager, Safety Manager and HR within 24 hours of any injury or event. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Required:
Advanced reading and interpretation of construction plans Strong attention to detail and timely follow-through General computer literacy for daily reporting and communicationPreferred/Considered:
10 years of experience in the construction industry with strong emphasis on supervision, scheduling, and production. Completing OSHA 30 training certification Core Competencies Leadership and Motivation- Inspire, guide, and coach Field Team members to achieve excellence while modeling HCI's values and expectations.
