Utility Construction Foreman Wet & Dry Utilities

We work on underground utility installation projects for public and private clients, and we're looking for an experienced Utility Foreman to join our team. Required Experience & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in wet and dry utility construction . Knowledge of utility conduit installation , structure/vault placement , phone/comm , gas , water , sewer , and street light installation . Have experience installing LADWP and SCE structures are preffered Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including excavation , trenching , vault installation , saw cutting , concrete work , and asphalt restoration . Valid driver's license (CDL preferred).Position Overview The Underground Utility Construction Foreman is part of our Civil Construction Division and reports directly to the Civil Superintendent. This role is responsible for leading and managing utility construction crews, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards . Key Responsibilities Supervise and work alongside crews in underground utility installation . Operate heavy machinery, perform manual labor, and ensure safe excavation practices . Direct daily work assignments and monitor crew productivity. Ensure all OSHA safety standards and company policies are followed. Coordinate with inspectors, utility companies, and project stakeholders. Manage jobsite materials, equipment transportation, and deliveries. Conduct daily safety tailboard meetings and maintain proper documentation. Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development. Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized. Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
