This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and keeps projects moving. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, make sound decisions in the field, coordinate with project management, and perform a wide variety of construction tasks as needed. We are looking for someone who can lead by example, adapt to changing project conditions, and help maintain quality, safety, and productivity across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Field Leadership Coordinate project activities with company leadership and project management. Plan and organize daily work to maintain project schedules. Identify problems early and develop practical solutions. Communicate effectively with owners, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors, and team members. Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism. Complete daily reports, material tracking, and project documentation. Verify work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and company standards. Hands-On Construction Work Self-perform work may include: Demolition Wood and metal framing Drywall installation and repair Finish carpentry Painting and touch-up work Doors, frames, and hardware installation Punch list and warranty work Minor plumbing repairs and installations Minor electrical repairs and installations Site repairs and miscellaneous construction tasks Material handling and equipment operation Qualifications Minimum 5 years of construction experience. Experience leading crews and coordinating field activities. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction practices. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities. Professional communication and leadership abilities. Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to perform physical construction work on a daily basis. Ideal Candidate The right person is: A self-starter who does not wait to be told what to do.
