Denver Blue Card, OSHA training, or equivalent field leadership experience The Opportunity Montgomery Electric, Inc. is seeking a Projects Foreman to lead field crews on commercial electrical projects from daily planning through successful installation. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial electrical professional who can coordinate manpower, materials, safety, quality, and schedule while keeping the crew productive and aligned with MEI's standards. the on-site leader, you will be responsible for translating project plans into successful field execution. The Projects Foreman works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, inspectors, and field personnel to ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and MEI standards. This role is accountable for coordinating daily field activities, maintaining quality workmanship, driving project schedules, and ensuring successful project delivery. How You Will Make an Impact Lead daily field operations for assigned commercial electrical projects. Coordinate journeymen, apprentices, and other field team members to meet daily and weekly production goals. Review drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, and project documents to understand scope and installation requirements. Plan daily tasks, assign the right team members to the right work, and ensure manpower is used efficiently. Install and oversee commercial electrical systems including conduit, boxes, supports, wiring, panels, devices, and related components. Monitor field progress and communicate schedule risks, material needs, or coordination issues to the Project Manager or Superintendent. Ensure work is completed within MEI's scope and escalate potential scope gaps or change order issues before work proceeds. Coordinate with other trades and the GC to reduce conflicts and keep the project moving. Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet NEC, OSHA, project specifications, and MEI standards. Maintain a safe, organized, clean, and productive jobsite. Lead by example with a positive, can-do attitude and a focus on customer satisfaction. Train, mentor, and coach apprentices and junior electricians on proper installation methods and productivity expectations. Support prefabrication and efficient installation methods whenever possible. Help maintain accurate daily documentation, including progress updates, safety records, as-builts, and planning sheets. Required Qualifications & Experience Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician License w/ proven commercial electrical field experience. Prior experience leading crews or directing field work on commercial projects. Strong working knowledge of NEC requirements, OSHA safety practices, and commercial construction standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and jobsite documents. Strong conduit bending, layout, installation, troubleshooting, and field coordination skills. Ability to communicate clearly with field teams, Project Managers, Superintendents, GCs, inspectors, and other trades. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment with shifting priorities and project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Denver Blue Card or fire alarm installation experience. Experience working on commercial electrical projects involving fire alarm, low voltage, service work, tenant improvements, or ground-up construction. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience mentoring apprentices or developing junior field team members. Experience coordinating work across multiple trades on active commercial jobsites. Familiarity with Notifier, EST, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or similar systems is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience.
