Foreman / Crew Lead Landscaping & Construction

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Foreman / Crew Lead to oversee landscaping and construction projects, ensuring high-quality execution and strong team coordination. In this vital role, you will lead a small crew of skilled workers, manage daily job site operations, and ensure all safety standards and company expectations are met. This is a hands-on leadership position. You will be responsible for organizing daily tasks, delegating responsibilities, maintaining productivity, operating equipment when needed, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to our quality standards. You will communicate with clients professionally on-site, keep job sites clean and organized, and report progress directly to ownership. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping, masonry, hardscaping, excavation, or general construction. Prior foreman experience is preferred but not required. We are open to promoting someone with strong field experience, leadership ability, and the drive to grow into a foreman role. Duties Lead and supervise a landscaping and construction crew, assign daily tasks, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards Oversee all phases of landscaping and construction work including lawn installation, planting, horticulture, tree work, irrigation, masonry, hardscaping, site work, and general property maintenance Plan and coordinate daily schedules, materials, deliveries, and equipment usage to maintain efficiency and productivity on job sites Enforce all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe and organized work environment Perform routine quality checks throughout each project to ensure workmanship meets company and client expectations Train, guide, and mentor crew members to improve skill level, teamwork, and overall performance Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, suppliers, and ownership regarding job progress, changes, and any issues that arise Skills Proven experience in supervising landscaping or construction crews with strong leadership capabilities Extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, horticulture, tree care, irrigation systems, and general outdoor maintenance Familiarity with construction processes and safety regulations applicable to outdoor projects Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and effective team collaboration Strong problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges promptly Passion for outdoor work with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and industry best practices We are open to training and promoting the right person into a foreman role.
