Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and hard-working foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in overseeing all phases of a construction project from start to finish. The fitting individual will be knowledgeable in all drywall construction aspects as well as metal stud framing and acoustical ceiling installation, in both residential and commercial settings. Such a role requires an understanding of construction practices, attention to detail, thorough communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team. •U.S. work authorized applicants only•Duties Basic skills in carpentry, drywall, framing, taping, ceiling installation, and demolition Develop and understand comprehensive project plans and schedules Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and equipment Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations Knowledgeable in safety practices and protocols Oversee all phases of a construction project, from initial planning to final completion Manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors Collaborate with other trades on-site, to ensure project timelines are met Read and interpret job specifications and blueprints Qualifications Proven experience in drywall installation or related construction fields, acoustical ceiling installation, and project management Blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics Familiarity with remodeling processes Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot on-site challenges Education/Experience and Requirements High school graduate/GED (required) Drywall hanging/Metal framing/Carpentry experience: 2 years Project management experience: 1 year (preferred) OSHA 10 Certification Valid driver's license Tool supply and transportation Ability to travel throughout Connecticut to various jobs Ability to work on your feet for 8-hour shift Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs Please feel free to contact us with interest or questions:
