Job Description

POOL EXCAVATION LEAD R&E
Excavation is seeking an experienced Pool Excavation Lead to oversee and execute residential swimming pool excavation projects throughout Delaware, Maryland, and surrounding areas. This is not just an equipment operator position. We are looking for a field leader who can independently manage pool excavation projects, read plans, establish elevations, lead crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review pool plans, drawings, and project requirements before excavation begins Verify site access, utility markings, elevations, and excavation requirements Layout and establish pool excavation locations and benchmarks Operate excavators and other equipment as needed Lead and direct field crews on daily activities Coordinate with project managers, builders, and homeowners when necessary Identify and resolve field issues before they impact production Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and quality standards Ensure excavation projects are completed accurately and on schedule
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of excavation experience Experience reading construction plans and blueprints Knowledge of grades, elevations, and site layout Strong leadership and crew management abilities Ability to operate excavation equipment safely and efficiently Strong communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous swimming pool excavation experience Foreman or supervisory experience CDL license Experience using laser levels and grade equipment

COMPENSATION
Competitive compensation based on experience, leadership ability, and qualifications.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
