Audio Visual Foreman (Voice & Data / Structured Cabling)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Foreman to oversee the installation and maintenance of structured cabling, voice/data, and AV systems on commercial and industrial job sights in the Clearwater, FL area. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, ensuring high-quality installations, and maintaining compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry codes. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities): Supervise and lead daily activities of V/D technicians and installers. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and construction drawings. Install, terminate, test, and label copper and fiber optic cabling. Plan and manage labor, materials, and equipment required for assigned projects. Ensure all work meets TIA/EIA standards, NEC code, and other local and safety regulations. Conduct quality control inspections and testing using certification tools (e.g., Fluke testers). Coordinate with general contractors, electricians, and other trades. Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, material usage, and crew hours. Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety procedures. Communicate project updates, risks, and delays to the Project Managers or Superintendents.
