Job Description

Flightline Service Technician Supervisor Full-time - 36-40 hours per week, including weekends Join our team and work in a fast-paced professional aviation service environment in the brand new terminal at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport. Bent Wing Flight Services is the airport's Fixed Base Operator (FBO) and provides aircraft services to general aviation aircraft, crews and passengers. Duties include leading and directing activities of Flightline Service Technicians (FST) providing services to general aviation aircraft, crew, and passengers. In addition to supervising, scheduling and training FSTs, the Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing fuel quality control at the FBO. The Supervisor will also perform the job functions of the FST to include greeting, parking, towing, moving and marshalling aircraft arriving or departing the ramp area. Additional duties include assisting with luggage and providing shuttle service for passengers and crew, and providing lavatory, water and GPU service as requested.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in general aviation 3 years experience in FBO line service High school graduation or equivalent Excellent customer relations skills Must possess valid state driver's license Flexibility to work various days, evenings and weekends, as needed Proficient with computer software including Word, Excel, Internet and email Working Conditions Ability to perform line service operations outside and in variable weather conditions Ability to work in a high noise environment with hearing protection Ability to work in environmental conditions including jet engine fumes and/or dust Physical Requirements Requires moderate to heavy lifting up to 75 lbs, frequent walking, stretching, bending and climbing Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to hear and speak clearly, including while utilizing telecommunication devices such as radios, cell phones, and air-to-ground communications Ability to use ladders and other high lift equipment Ability to wear safety equipment including gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, reflective vests, and other personal protective equipment as necessary

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus tips
