American Electrical Contracting, 7-Time Winner of National Best of the Best 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 and the leading Merit Shop Electrical business in NE Florida, is hiring for the following positions: Commercial Foremen/Supervisor •
Position Summary:
•We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee and manage our electrical projects from 1MM-5MM. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of electrical systems, strong leadership abilities, and excellent organizational skills. The Electrical Foreman will lead a team of electricians, ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. •
Responsibilities:
•1. Lead and manage a team of electricians, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance. 2. Ability to plan at least 3 weeks in advance for materials and manpower according to the schedule and plans. 3. Coordinate and oversee electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. 4. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide the team's work. 5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to plan and execute electrical projects effectively. 6. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for the team. 7. Monitor the quality of work and conduct regular inspections to ensure that installations meet industry standards and specifications. 8. Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any changes made during the construction process. 9. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing solutions and implementing repairs as needed. 10. Order and manage the inventory of materials, tools, and equipment required for various projects. 11. Train and mentor apprentice electricians, promoting skill development and career growth within the team. 12. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance the team's performance and knowledge. Required Skills & Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in electrical construction, project and team leadership. The ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders will be essential, as is a keen eye for detail, safety, and quality. Additional Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work is preferred. Valid electrical journeyman or master's license. Proven leadership experience as a commercial/industrial Electrical Foreman. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Physical stamina, ability to work in various conditions, heights and confined spaces. Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Willing to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with local laws/regulations?
Experience:
Minimum:
Electrical Foreman / Superintendent with a three year verifiable history of professional leadership and oversight over projects of at least $1MM in electrical scope. (Required)
