We specialize in the construction and repair of docks, bulkheads, seawalls, boat lifts, and other waterfront structures. Our reputation is built on quality craftsmanship, strong leadership, and delivering projects safely and efficiently. Position Overview Farrell Brothers Marine Construction is seeking an experienced Marine Construction Foreman to lead field crews and oversee the successful execution of marine construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate has extensive construction experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. We are looking for someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, and takes ownership of the quality of work performed by their crew. Responsibilities Lead and supervise marine construction crews on active job sites Coordinate daily project activities and crew assignments Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project layouts Ensure projects are completed according to company quality standards Monitor productivity and maintain project schedules Train and mentor crew members Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce all safety protocols Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower needs Communicate with project managers regarding project progress, challenges, and scheduling Assist with hands-on construction activities as needed Maintain organized and professional job sites Requirements Minimum 5 years of construction experience Minimum 2 years in a leadership, crew lead, or foreman role Strong understanding of carpentry, framing, and construction practices Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Marine construction experience Experience with docks, seawalls, bulkheads, boat lifts, and waterfront structures Equipment operation experience OSHA certification CDL license Experience managing project schedules and material coordination What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Company matched 401k Healthcare stipend PTO and paid holidays Consistent, year-round work Company vehicle opportunities for qualified candidates Advancement opportunities within a growing company Safety-focused work environment Opportunity to lead high-profile waterfront construction projects Who We're Looking For We're not just looking for a supervisor.
