Job Description

Foreman Plumber We are looking for experienced Commercial Foreman Plumbers who are honest, trustworthy, and self-motivated and consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic. Must provide own reliable transportation. Majority of our jobs are within City of Atlanta or surrounding area. Work hours normally 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Mon-Fri. Overtime, evening, night, and weekend work as project requires. Employee needs to work at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project Supervisor. General:
Install and repair pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution of plumbing systems in commercial structures. Work involves performing skilled plumbing tasks with a variety of fixtures and equipment. Inspects drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local and national regulations.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years minimum industry experience
OSHA 30 CPR
Training Certified Rigging & Signal Certification Excavation Safety Training Confined Space Certification (Competent Person) Fall Protection Certification (Competent Person)
Forklift/Lull Training Scissor & Boom Lift Training DOT:
Class C for Company Vehicles EPA Certification Energetic personality, well organized and ability to work independently Detail oriented Proficient in reading blueprints. Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes Considerable knowledge of standard tools, systems, methods and materials (copper, Cast, pvc, PEX, etc.) Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Must adhere to all safety guidelines and strong knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work. High School Diploma required. Trade School education desirable. Must provide own hand tools appropriate to trade that are in good condition and meet safety requirements Must provide own reliable transportation to work

Has the ability to manage personnel resources by leading, motivating, developing, and directing people as they work. Critical thinker with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Has good judgment and decision-making ability and can consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions. Monitoring or assessing the performance of yourself, other individuals, or subcontractors to make improvements or take corrective action.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to work on all phases of commercial plumbing from underground to trim-out Take offs, layout, installation and testing of completed work Follow supervisor instructions, install work to spec and train helpers appropriately. Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time. Required to produce high quality work, safely and productively at all times. Ensure all required and/or proper materials, tools, equipment and information is at jobsite. Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew. Show up early every day ready to start on time, work a full shift as a best in class dependable employee
Physical Requirements:
Workday requires physical work indoors or outdoors in varying conditions/temperatures Strong finger and manual dexterity for handling pipes and plumbing fixtures. Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs. on an occasional basis May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; proper shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.) Move in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas. Will climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds. Will need to stoop, kneel, or bend, on a regular basis Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
