In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repair, maintenance, and installation services for staircases, handrails, and related architectural features. Your expertise will ensure safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal across various construction sites and renovation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team committed to excellence in craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive repairs and installations of staircases, handrails, and associated components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and install stair parts and handrails. Conduct site inspections to assess project requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to schedule work phases efficiently. Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, plastering, painting, or sealing to ensure a polished appearance. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress for quality control purposes. Experience Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on stair installation or repair is highly preferred. Familiarity with construction management practices including estimating, site inspection, and project coordination. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction drawings related to stairs and handrails. Hands-on experience with various construction trades such as masonry, welding, framing carpentry, or restoration work is advantageous. Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems related to stairway lighting or integrated features is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to all safety protocols. Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to concrete forming, roofing, flooring installation or tile laying is beneficial.
