FINISHING FOREMAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee all daily field operations related to drywall and carpentry activities on the project job site
  • Provide training and guidance to all employees
  • Work with Safety Manager to ensure safety compliance for all employees and project job site
  • Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and code adherence through the project
  • Responsible for the restoration schedule adherence
  • Conduct multiple walkthroughs in individual units and common areas to verify completion of scheduled work and adherence to drywall/carpentry requirements
  • Manage the firestopping team to ensure all firestopping activities are properly coordinated and execute in alignment with overall project requirements and schedule
  • Maintain inventory levels and pre-ordering materials in a timely manner
  • Provide daily updates to the Project Coordinator per company policy and procedures
  • Familiarize with project scope and specifications
  • Inform Senior Project Manager and provide cost estimate on time and material basis
  • Consult Plumbing Foreman for all plumbing related issues or concerns
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor
FINISHING FOREMAN EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience in the drywall, carpentry/painting field (required)
  • Knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used
  • Be a self starter
  • Ability to organize multiple projects, manage rapidly shifting priorities
  • Produce tangible and measurable results
  • Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Walk long distances
  • Use of your hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Physically fit with the ability to work in awkward spaces
  • Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to crouch, bend/twist, crawl, kneel and sit unassisted
  • Climb ladders, scaffolds, poles, or stairs
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Must own tools of the trade
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must have a working smart phone (required)
