GENERAL FOREMAN
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation's premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical General Foreman in
Champaign, Illinois Electrical General Foreman Compensation & Benefits:
Total compensation for the Electrical General Foreman in Champaign, Illinois is around $55 Hr/ 60+ Hrs week $3000 Monthly Per Diem Covered healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision) 401k Paid time off & holidays Opportunities for advancement on large-scale projects
Electrical General Foreman Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as the primary field leader for all electrical operations on a $20M high-rise residential project Supervise and coordinate daily activities of foremen, journeymen, and apprentices Plan and manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to meet project milestones Interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules for accurate installation of electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, life safety) Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and resolve conflicts Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to NEC and local codes Track project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule Manage material procurement, deliveries, and inventory Lead daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures Other duties and projects as assigned
Electrical General Foreman Qualifications :
Strong employment stability 5-10 years of electrical construction experience 3-5 years in a supervisory role on commercial or multi-family projects Experience on mid- to high-rise construction projects preferred Strong knowledge of NEC, local building codes, and safety regulations Proven leadership experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with basic computer systems and construction management tools Must be authorized to work in the U.S. #BASE1
