  • Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Electrical Foreman and lead the charge in executing complex electrical projects across commercial construction sites.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, manage skilled tradespeople, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality electrical installations. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to drive project timelines, maintain safety standards, and uphold excellence in every aspect of construction. Your expertise will help shape innovative electrical solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. Duties Supervise and direct electrical crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to blueprints and schematics. Coordinate daily activities with project managers to align on project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation using construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6. Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes. Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to safety protocols (OSHA compliance), technical specifications, and industry standards. Manage procurement of materials and equipment, utilizing tools like Bluebeam for document management and tracking project documentation. Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring contractual obligations are met while maintaining a focus on safety and quality. Maintain accurate records of work progress, change orders, and safety incidents; utilize management tools such as HeavyBid or Primavera P6 for project scheduling and budgeting. Enforce strict safety protocols on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections with the team. Utilize testing equipment like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure proper functioning before project completion. Experience Proven supervising experience in commercial electrical construction projects with a strong understanding of heavy industrial or pipeline systems preferred. Extensive construction site experience with a solid grasp of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical system installation techniques. Demonstrated ability in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar platforms for project coordination. Knowledge of contracts management, construction estimating, budgeting processes, and project scheduling methodologies like Primavera P6 or Management software tools. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment on active construction sites. Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while supervising multiple tradespeople in fast-paced environments.
