Position Summary GEMCO is seeking an experienced Traveling Industrial Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects throughout the United States. This role is responsible for supervising electricians and apprentices, coordinating daily field activities, maintaining production schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and code requirements. We are specifically looking for candidates with commercial or industrial electrical construction experience. This is not a residential electrician role. Typical travel rotation is approximately 17 days on-site followed by 4 days home. Primary Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical field crews on commercial and industrial construction projects Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, and production schedules Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, electrical drawings, and specifications Oversee conduit installation, cable tray, feeders, terminations, switchgear, lighting, and power distribution work Coordinate materials, deliveries, tools, and equipment for field operations Enforce company safety policies including LOTO, PPE, permits, and JHAs Maintain daily reports, time sheets, and progress documentation Inspect work for quality, productivity, and code compliance Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades Support testing, startup, commissioning, and project closeout activities Mentor apprentices and develop field talent Qualifications 3+ years of Foreman or lead electrical experience preferred Strong commercial or industrial electrical construction background required Experience leading crews on active construction projects Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications Experience with conduit, feeders, switchgear, lighting, and power systems Knowledge of NEC and construction safety standards Valid driver's license required Must be willing and able to travel extensively Benefits & Perks Company vehicle Company iPad Phone allowance Paid travel and per diem Overtime opportunities Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, and 401(k) Opportunity for advancement with a growing national contractor Why GEMCO?
