Job Description This position is a part of our Restoration / Water Mitigation Team, you are the first responders onsite for water damage claims and you are responsible for beginning the claim process, determining the scope of work, performing demo as needed, daily monitoring and diary notes, and job closeout/customer satisfaction survey. Working in crews of two - technician and crew chief, you respond to service calls as needed and perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO® production guidelines. The Restoration Crew Chief assigns, coordinates, controls, and performs work activities on restoration projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Restoration Crew Chief demonstrates to customers and clients the company's Here to Help® commitment. Responsibilities Coordinate, oversee, and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control Manage the customer and client experience and overall project satisfaction Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities Thoroughly document restoration projects support the services provided Manage labor, equipment, and supply usage on assigned projects Communicate progress, problems, and important updates with internal team members. Verify all safety protocols are established and followed for workplace safety Perform daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle and equipment maintenance, as assigned. Coach and train restoration technicians Qualifications Effective oral communication Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred High school diploma/GED IICRC certifications preferred Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance Exposure to chemicals Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings) Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects Benefits Offered Medical, Vision, Dental 401K Matching Company Paid Life Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Paid Career Training & Certification Opportunities Employee Referral Program Customer Service Recognition Program
