Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Roofing Foreman to lead and oversee roofing projects from start to finish. As a key leader on our construction team, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, ensure safety protocols are followed, and deliver high-quality roofing solutions efficiently. Your expertise will drive project success, motivate crew members, and uphold our commitment to excellence in roofing craftsmanship. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate roofing crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide installation processes Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery necessary for roofing tasks Oversee the use of construction estimating techniques to manage materials and labor costs effectively Ensure all safety standards are strictly adhered to across the construction site Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to meet project timelines and quality expectations Conduct quality inspections of completed work, including flashing, caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing details Manage on-site logistics such as material delivery, storage, and waste removal Train and mentor crew members in proper roofing techniques and safety procedures Maintain detailed documentation of daily progress, safety incidents, and material usage Experience Proven experience in roofing installation with a strong background in construction site management Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to roofing systems Hands-on experience with various construction trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry (including stucco), welding, plumbing, metal stud framing, concrete forming, restoration work, tile laying, framing carpentry, drywall finishing (including drywall taping), and handyman tasks Familiarity with construction estimating processes for project planning and resource allocation Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), welding equipment, and heavy lifting gear safely and effectively Knowledge of safety protocols specific to roofing projects including fall protection systems Experience working with blueprints or schematics for complex roofing assemblies or restoration projects Previous leadership or supervisory roles on construction sites preferred Join us as a Roofing Foreman where your expertise will shape outstanding roofing projects while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
