Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Utility Line Clearance Tree Crew General Foreman and lead the charge in maintaining safe, reliable utility infrastructure. In this energetic role, you will oversee tree and vegetation clearance around power lines and utility poles, ensuring compliance with safety standards while promoting efficient workflow. Your leadership will drive a team of skilled workers to execute precise tree trimming, land clearing, and landscaping activities that support the integrity of essential utility services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to community safety and infrastructure resilience. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the utility line clearance tree crew, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, to ANSI A300 and Z133 standards of arboriculture and according to project specifications Lead vegetation management activities including tree trimming, land clearing, landscaping, and general maintenance around power lines and utility infrastructure Ensure all crew members adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations during operations Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards Conduct site inspections to evaluate hazards, assess work conditions, and implement corrective actions when necessary Provide training and mentorship to crew members Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, safety incidents, equipment usage, and compliance records Requirements Minimum of 5 years verifiable Foreman/Tree Crew Vegetation Management supervisor experience working on Utility Line Clearance. Have a basic knowledge of electrical circuits and must be skilled in reading and understanding circuit maps. Knows and understands the American National Standards for Tree Care Operations (ANSI
Z133.1-2000
). Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and foster a safety-first culture Be capable of adjusting to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision Ability to read technical diagrams, work plans, and safety procedures effectively Ability to communicate professionally, both verbal and in writing, with the general public, customers, and fellow employees Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Have valid commercial driver's license (CDL) medical card and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Pay:
$31.75 - $33.00 per hour
