Treadwell is hiring a high-caliber Epoxy Foreman to lead our install crews across the Kansas City metro. You will be the face of Treadwell on every job site — running the crew, setting the pace, and delivering the best floors in the region. About Treadwell Treadwell started with a single focus: making tough floors easy. Based in Kansas City, we specialize in epoxy floors, polished concrete, and gypsum underlayments for commercial and industrial projects. We have built a reputation on doing what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to do it — and we back it up with craftsmanship you can stand on. What You Will Do As our Epoxy Foreman, you are the on-site leader. You run the job from the moment the truck rolls up to the final walkthrough with the client. Lead a crew of installers on epoxy and industrial floor coating projects. Read and interpret scopes of work, project plans, and specifications, then translate them into a clear game plan for your crew. Own project execution from surface prep through final coat — grinding, shot blasting, patching, priming, mixing, broadcasting, and top coating. Set the pace, set the standard, and set the tone. Coach installers on technique, product, safety, and professionalism. Manage tools, equipment, materials, and mix ratios on every project to keep waste down and quality up. Conduct quality control checks throughout the install and hold your crew accountable to Treadwell standards. Communicate daily with the Project Managers on progress, issues, change orders, and schedule. Represent Treadwell in front of general contractors, property owners, and clients on the job site. Maintain a safe job site, enforce PPE use, and lead daily safety huddles. Keep the company vehicle, trailer, and equipment clean, organized, and in top working condition. What You Bring This is a high-level role, and we are looking for a high-level candidate. You should check most (or all) of these boxes: 3+ years of hands-on experience installing epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane cement, and MMA systems. Prior experience as a foreman, crew lead, or lead installer running a crew of 2 or more. Expert-level surface prep skills — grinding, shot blasting, moisture mitigation, and concrete repair. Strong general construction skills and the ability to read blueprints, specs, and job drawings.

Proven leadership:

you know how to coach, correct, and push a crew without burning them out. Strong communication skills. You can talk to a new installer, a GC, and a commercial client with equal confidence. A self-starter who executes on guidance provided by leadership and takes ownership of the outcome. Eager for constructive feedback and committed to getting better every day. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
