Pay:
$19.00 - $28.00 per hour Job description: We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly in low voltage applications. This role involves working on various projects, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems in commercial settings. The technician will work closely with other trades. Low Voltage work in data, access control, audio visual, and fire alarm, and telecommunications. This is long term work with competitive pay. Duties Install and maintain low voltage systems (Data and telecommunications) Fiber Fire Alarm low voltage work available Troubleshoot and repair issues with existing low voltage installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all installations and repairs. Qualifications Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role in electrical work. Experience as an commercial electrician is a plus. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage applications when necessary.. Experience on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects is advantageous. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
